“Every nation has symbols—specific objects that represent beliefs, values, traditions, or other intangible ideas that make that country unique. While these symbols may change over time, they can help to bind a nation together by reminding its people of their nation’s history and most important principles. Some of the U. S. symbols include, but are not limited to, the Liberty Bell, the U. S. flag, the bald eagle, the national anthem, Uncle Sam, and the Statue of Liberty. ” (Symbols of the United States. § § § The goal of this game is to help students like us

§ § § The goal of this game is to help students like us practice the concepts of the symbols of the United states of America and identify each image. To play the game the student who created the game will be the facilitator. He or she will set up the game board on the smart board or projector. Other students will be divided into two teams. The team will respond to questions as they are selected from the board. . To win the game a team must answer 80%-100% of the questions correctly. Return

 Game board: Will be displayed on a smart board or projector for students

Game board: Will be displayed on a smart board or projector for students to choose questions to respond too. “Buzzers”: Will be used for the team to buzz in if they know the correct answer. “Tickets”: For each correct answer, each team will receive a ticket. “Tally Sheet”: Will be used to calculate each teams point. “At the conclusion of the game, the winners will receive a prize. ” Home Page
