IPM work • Changed to new HV ON routine with better diagnostics • By code archeology, found that measurements which failed HV test were not properly discarded – Fixed, but it seems this was not the cause of the fluctuating signal • Added automatic front-end hard reset if persistent front-end error detected • Added hard abort after 10 consecutive HV timeouts – To save MCP, and avoid constant HV ON cases. – Caused issue with proton injection, fixed temporarily with special “injection wait” SPEC • Timing scan (see pic) – Seems bad timing may be the cause of the correlation between detected signal strength and sigma • Found one board off by one sample, causes cut profiles. – To be addressed Tevatron Coordinator - FNAL 12/12/2021 8
