Steve Jobs was not only a passionate visionary, he also was a successful leader. When his vision disagreed with that of then. CEO (1985), he knew it was time to back down and resigned from Apple. Steve successfully re-established Apple as a leader in the industry, as of 1996, and in 2011 was a contender to the most valuable company. As a leader he knew his limits, and so explained, “I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know.
