Excretion: They excrete the waste they no longer need Respiration: Butterflies breathe using spiracles Nutrition: Most butterflies consume nectar for nutrients. Growth and Development: Butterflies go through metamorphosis. Changing from an egg to larva to caterpillar then an adult butterfly. Regulation: Butterflies have hormones to help regulate their bodies. Reproduction: Butterflies reproduce sexually.
