WHO IS STEPHEN • Stephen is an American electronic music artist • He was known as Stephen Swartz and this was the name published on all his music, however recently he changed to just Stephen and very few actually knew these two people were the same and this is due to a sudden change within his music.

GENRE CHARACTERISTICS • So one major characteristic shown in this type of music is colouring, in songs as such the colouring is usually dark and underground. Within the video we also see somewhat of a narrative which is not clear and leaves the audience to piece together, The music and the visuals clearly co-exist as when the crossfire is mentioned the scene becomes more hectic and the characters almost begin rebelling such as the character in the hoodie who begins to hold up the sign stating we are all human.
MISE EN SCENE • The 4 main characters are given clothing which enforces certain ideas and stereotypes. • This has been done in order to prove a point towards the audience and create the basis for this music video • Within the video we can and do make judgements and assumptions based on what these characters are wearing • We do not know the characters and are presented to them from afar and they are trapped in glass boxes.
CAMERA • In regards to following Goodwin's theory, only a short amount is present such as Music and visual representation. The use of the camera creates the beat through the crossing movement and way the transitions occur. This video almost conveys the opposite of what a pop song would show, the main singer is not present at all during the video and can only be heard. As well as there seems to be little to no braiding within the video
EDITING • There are quite a few cuts within the music video and the main type of editing I can see is the use of colour correction which is used to make the scene darker which as mentioned before is a genre characteristic of electronic music.
