When is STEP available? v Basic STEP capability has been available since December 1994.

When is STEP available? v Basic STEP capability has been available since December 1994. 12 Parts registered as ISO 10303 international standards in December 1994. This is the “Initial Release”. u This includes 2 AP’s (Part 201) address the exchange of 2 D drawing data and (Part 203) 3 D design data under configuration control and included in the 12 parts. u v Continuing STEP development schedule is aggressive (as of 1/1/96) 10 AP’s are in different stages of ballot cycle to be standardized. u 7 additional APs have industrial validation and 3 of them are technically complete. u 11 new APs have been approved as active development projects. u NIST/ECRC
