Status Report WLTP Sub Group EV Additional EV related topics 24 th IWG WLTP Meeting, Tokyo, September 18 th to 20 th
Status Report WLTP Sub Group EV System Power Determination (in collaboration with IWG EVE) Status: - IWG EVE is currently working on a regulatory body for system power determination of hybrid electric vehicles - Basis: ISO standard xxx - Members of WLTP Subgroup EV are involved in this transposition and support members of IWG EVE - Reminder: WLTP Subgroup EV members stated the clear preference during the IWG EVE meeting to incorporate the system power determination procedure as an Annex (or Appendix to Annex 8) into GTR 15 (as scope is limited to WLTP) - GRPE proper in June 2018 made the decision to set up a separate system power GTR - A validation program is running in parallel to the drafting process; validation program with intention to prove that the two methodologies included in the ISO standard are leading to the same results; final results of validation test are still in evaluation and not available yet but will most likely be available for upcoming IWG EVE meeting in Ottawa (16 th to 17 th of October 2018) GRPE feedback: § decision to have a separate system power GTR Feedback WLTP Subgroup EV: § Members of WLTP Subgroup EV will continue the exchange with IWG EVE group Status: 18. September 2018 Leading Team WLTP Subgroup on EV 11
