Statement of intent

The purpose of the project • The purpose of my project is to show the two main stages of life and a good way to show this is on our well known rappers such as Kanye West, Eminem, Drake, Big Sean. I chose these types of people because I am personally a fan of them and many other people area also fans. This will be a treat to see what they looked like when they were children and how much they transformed to become the people they are today.

Audience of the product/project • The audience for my product are aimed towards teenagers, the reason for this is that there a much larger amount of teenagers that will know who I am showcasing on my project. They will know them because of the generation they live in and that these chosen celebrities are extremely popular today which means that the older people might not know them.

Style The style of my product is a black and white contact sheet with celebrities faces on it from them as children. The bottom row will be them as adults. Each picture will be placed onto an A 3 piece of black card individually. I am doing this because I think it will look well presented because of the black and white which works together very well.

Content • The content of my final project is going to show the two main stages in life from childhood to adulthood. I am doing this with celebrities because I really enjoy listening to all of these rappers. This means that it means something to me personally. I think this will appeal to viewers because many other people listen to them. This means that they will also like too see the celebrities and children and to show it in my own way as a contact sheet.
