State College of Florida Collegiate School SCF Collegiate School is a tuition free charter school with the mission to supporting students to complete an AA degree upon their high school graduation. The school focuses on educating the students and the whole family regarding the benefits and navigation of a successful college experience. • Grades 6 -12, opened fall 2010 • A grade, High-Performing Charter, FLDOE School of Excellence • Grades 6 -10 – Kunskapsskolan model and 1: 1 technology distribution • Grades 11 -12 – Accelerated College Program, graduating with a high school diploma and an AA degree • Facility, Personnel and Administrative support from the State College of Florida. 6 th- 10 th Grade -Pre-collegiate program -Limited or no entrance criteria -Curriculum designed by k-12 instructors with mastery component -Florida graduation requirements - 1: 1 Technology access 11 th-12 th Grade -Accelerated College Program -Legislative entrance criteria -Focus on first generation -Curriculum program as a full time DE student families -Advising and counseling (for next institution) -Academic coaching -Following traditional AA or STEM degree tracks: • college/career • Business • academics • Political science • personal/social • Nursing • international • Environmental science perspective • Pre-med (bio, chem, biochem) • Engineering (mechanical, civil, computer/software, chemical)

Mission statement: State College of Florida Collegiate School’s mission is to guide and mentor student achievement by equipping them to attain a high school diploma and an Associate in Arts Degree concurrently upon graduation. Vision: Beginning in 6 th grade, SCFCS students’ progress in a rigorous academic environment, permeated by technology. The program utilizes demanding and innovative initiatives to establish a system that encourages independent learning, preparing students for success in a full-time college schedule beginning their junior year. Eliminate transitions in education with a continuum from sixth grade to college, while providing academic advising for college at SCF and beyond Maintain focus and direction

Documentation captured with a Canvas course. 2015 -16 Academic coaching redefined SIP focus on academic coaching. Process of creating an institutional framework for academic coaching following guidance standards and a master schedule. Process of reaching into the community for mentoring and counseling students.
