About Us • Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) is one of 16 two-year colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). • BCTC awards associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates in more than 40 areas of study. • BCTC offers classes at six campus locations and several area sites in Central Kentucky. • BCTC provides a skilled workforce, through high-quality career and technical programs, workforce training, and continuing education. • BCTC prepares students to transfer for 4 -year baccalaureate degrees, through general education and literacy and life skills development.

Cost • Full Time Student Taking 12 Hours • $1, 764 per semester + books/student fees • Part Time Student Taking 6 Hours • $882 per semester + books/student fees • Equivalent Student at UK Taking 12 Hours • $5, 390 per semester
Financial Aid BCTC offers a wide range of financial aid programs. Grants In most cases, it does not have to be repaid, and is based on financial need. Grants are awarded to undergraduate students who have not obtained a bachelors or professional degree. There are several types of grants awarded to students depending upon financial need and school choice.
Financial Aid Loans A loan is considered self-help aid. It must be repaid. Loans are both need based and non-need based.
Financial Aid Federal Work-Study (FWS) is considered self-help aid. It is a need based program administrated by the school. You will be paid by the hour, at least the minimum wage rate of pay. It is a great source for networking and on-the-job training.
Financial Aid Scholarships & KEES 101 Scholarships are considered gift aid and do not have to be repaid. Funding for BCTC scholarships comes from the state government, individuals, businesses, and organizations. To apply for a scholarship, submit a completed scholarship application and the requested supporting materials. APPLY EARLY!!!
