IEC 61204 -7 and IEC 62477 -1 (group safty standard) in the IEC •

IEC 61204 -7 and IEC 62477 -1 (group safty standard) in the IEC • Harmonization in Europe EN 61204 -7 has been positively assessed by the LVD (Low Voltage Directive) New Approach consultant in September 2017. • Acceptance in China (GB standard) They voted positive on the standard. National Chinese Mirror Comittee (TC 60) will investigate for national acceptance of IEC 61204 -7 and group safety publication IEC 62477 -1. • Acceptance in US/CAN Mainly depending of the US/CAN acceptance of group safety standard IEC 62477 -1 which is in progress. Technical demands from US will be considered in 2 nd version of IEC 61477 -1 which is actually in Draft status.
