A chocolate lab chased a bicyclist up the street and around the corner. Interrogative A sentence that asks a question and ends with a question mark. Did you see the chocolate lab chase the bicyclist up the street and around the corner? Imperative A sentence that gives a command ends with a period. As the chocolate lab began to pull on the leash, she ordered, “Hershey, stop. ” Exclamatory A sentence that expresses strong feeling and ends with an exclamation point.
