Digital Safety Vocabulary • Cyberbullying: This is when a person intentionally hurts another person by spreading rumors about them, threatening them, or harassing them using social media or texting. • Trolling: This term means intentionally typing inappropriate, offensive, or wild comments on a social media platform in order to provoke a reaction. • Flaming: On social media, this term is used to describe typing inappropriate, rude, or profane comments made for the purpose of insulting or hurting someone. © 2019 Child.
