National Occupational Standards (NOS) Programme • Strategic Direction from NOS Governance Group – Coordinate policy of strategic issues on behalf of the DAs – Ensure NOS reflect skills and learning policies across the DAs and provide support to employers who access them – Ensure NOS meet the needs of learners, businesses and other stakeholders across the UK

National Occupational Standards (NOS) Programme • UK NOS Panel – Works on behalf of the DAs to ensure requirements of the NOS quality criteria are met and there is adequate consultation in each nation – Report to the NOS Governance Group on behalf of the DAs • Quality Assurance of NOS content by SQA Accreditation
