COVIDSafe Commitments 1. Temperature scanning. All staff, visitors and patrons will be scanned upon entry to the facility. If someone displays a temperature of 38°C, they will be politely asked to leave. 2. Social distancing requirements. A distance of 1. 5 metres between people will be required throughout facilities and programs. All spaces within the facility need to be measured and 4 metres squared restrictions per space will be enforced. Seats and equipment should also be removed to ensure social distancing. 3. Signage and instructions. All sites will need to display the provided signage and instructions on how staff and customers can be COVID-Safe throughout the facility. Hygiene signage and floor, seat and bench decal stickers will be installed to assist patrons and visitors will physical distancing requirements.

COVIDSafe Commitments 4. Increased hygiene and cleaning. Where required all staff, visitors and patrons will wear a mask within Y facilities. There will be hand sanitiser available at entry and exit points, as well as in high touch point areas and areas of high traffic. All sites will increase cleaning, with regular touch point cleans and 24 -hour facility cleans. 5. Training for staff. All staff will need to complete the Department of Health COVID-Safe training, as well as additional training provided by YMCA Victoria. You will have received an email from Human Resources outlining what training needs to be completed prior to returning to work. 6. Process for a confirmed case. In the event of a confirmed COVID-19 case, must follow the eight-step plan in place to ensure reporting, tracing and cleaning occurs before the facility reopens. Everyone who enters our facilities will have their details recorded to assist with case tracing.
