Employee Responsibilities Work Schedules ◦ 35 hours Per week are mandatory. ◦ Load of 18 teaching hours in maximum per week. ◦ Timing can be adjusted according to the timetable, ensuring 35 hours per week.
Dress code Staff must dress in a formal and modest manner in keeping with the Islamic Culture of the Country. Female staff must wear loose clothing that covers their arms and knees and that is not see-through. Male staff must wear long-sleeved formal shirt and tie with closed shoes (expatriates) or Omani traditional dress (Omanis).

The Research Council (TRC) • Research funding body & leader of research development in the country. • Established in June 2005, TRC has been founded by Royal Decree No. 54/2005 under the chairmanship of His Highness Sayyid Shihab Bin Tariq Al. Said, adviser to His Majesty the Sultan. • This was notably followed in 2010 by Royal Decree No. 30/2010 with TRC set to lead the way in drawing up a national plan for scientific research in the Sultanate. • Dedicated to promoting and supporting research, scientific enquiry, and innovation. • The heart of TRC work is nurturing research talent to power innovation and create economic benefit for our national prosperity.

Grievances / Disciplinary issues Sectional QAC and HR committees work hand in hand for resolution of staff grievances/ issues under the patronage of Ho. S. For any grievance Ho. S / Sectional QAC/HRC can be contacted.
Safety Procedures Most of the Access in Offices, Labs, Class rooms, Vehicle Entrance in Campus is through Access Card. So it need to be kept safe with you. Don’t give your access card to anyone, otherwise staff will be considered responsible for it in case of any mishap. All the major Network resources including Network login, Email, and E-Learning Portal are accessible through same User ID & Password. So don’t share it with anyone or leave any system logged in.
General Instructions Guests are not allowed in the Class rooms and Laboratories. Don’t allow the students to come/stay in the Labs without the concerned technicians.
