OHS Legislation Duties of the employer l Provide a safe work place l Provide and maintain safe plant / equipment l Arranging safe systems of work when working with plant and substances l Provide adequate facilities for the welfare of employees l Provide such information, instruction, training and supervision to employees to enable the employees to work in a safe manner

Not wilfully or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of health safety or welfare l Not wilfully place at risk the health or safety of any person at the workplace.

Return to Work l The modern approach is to get the injured staff member back to work as soon as possible l We can find duties suitable for your medical condition l Slowly increase your hours / days until you’re back to normal
