THE MINISTRY Youth Ministry at St. Luke’s Church is all about creatinga safe place for 6 th-12 th gradersto learn about God and to prepare them to take their faith into the world. 7 There’s a hope to help young people grow spiritually, understand they are beloved children of God, and know that they have an important place in the Christian community.

Director of Youth Ministries St. Luke’s is looking for hard-working a , self-starter who is trustworthy, innovative, relational, and who values students as active participants in the church of today, not just tomorrow. This leader should be team a playerwho enjoys connecting with the larger community. 8

Key Qualifications College Graduate 3 -5 years related experience Familiar with social media platforms and Microsoft Office Suite Able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, both orally and in writing Satisfactory completion of Safeguarding God’s Children, background check, and drug screening 9 Primary Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate weekly faith formation offerings along with seasonal events and trips for students Recruit and train adult leadership team into a sustainable model of ministry Manage the administrative components of the ministry c( ompliance documentation, annual budget, personal information) Connect and collaborate with fellow church staff, other area youth ministers, and colleagues at the diocesan level
