Community Service Over 158, 000 service hours last academic year Recognition on President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for 6 years This fall, 600 volunteers served more than 100 neighbors during Bee The Difference Day Provided service to 35 area agencies Service trips each year during fall, winter and spring breaks - (Chicago, East St. Louis, Kentucky, Ohio) This year, $224, 000+ raised for the Children's Miracle Network by SAU Dance Marathon student group Comm. UNITY Day event south of Locust with QCBT

Campus Happenings Athletic Teams Added for Fall 2017 Women’s Lacrosse Men’s and Women’s Swimming Latter has a facilities partnership with Davenport Central HS Educational Access and Affordability Holding tuition and fees increases to record lows 100+ at Freeman Pollard Scholarship Fund Breakfast Award of $28 million in scholarship aid annually Comm. UNITY Day, April 9 Partnership with QCBT and City of Davenport Homes south of campus received service from volunteers to improve the properties

Parking Oversight Require all students to register vehicles City will look up vehicles of concern Communications to students to use our lots We monitor on-street parking and continue to encourage student use of lots Focusing on area around CHS building Reporting illegal parking on streets to City Zone 2 and Rogalski Faculty Staff lots are available for general use from 3 p. m. – 7 a. m. Neighbor contacts and photos are helpful
Parking Availability – Spring 2016 Managing lot usage to accommodate demand: Zone 1 – 625 spaces [R 1. 1] = 651 permits sold Zone 2 – 552 spaces [R 1. 1] = 580 permits sold Zone 3* – 98 spaces [R 1. 0] = 25 issued [no cost] *Generally seeing lots full 10 am – 2 pm * Increased parking around Health Science building has been an area of focus
Wellness and Recreation Center New 80, 000 square foot building to be located adjacent to the existing PE Center. Construction is progressing due to good weather. Much of current facility will close May 4. Building available for use for Fall 2017 classes. Include athletic and campus recreation offices New Kinesiology classrooms New cardio and group fitness space Design and oversight by RDG [Des Moines]; building and renovation by Russell Construction.
