SSS Graduates 2011 -2012 Congratulations to our 44 SSS Graduates! Here's a sampling of what a few of our SSS Grads are doing now.

Sally Ea (Social Work) - "I am currently participating in the Lutheran Volunteer Corps as a full time volunteer for the 2012 -2013 year in Seattle, WA. I am serving as the Rehabilitation Coordinator at Transitional Resources, which is an agency that serves people with mental health disabilities. "

Ryan Fett (Accounting, Management) - "I am at Fremont, NE where I will be working as a staff accountant for Hormel Foods. In addition, I am engaged to Anna Looft and will be getting married on July 13, 2013. "

Hannah Grundhoefer (Art) "I'm currently interning at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, doing photography. Once this is over, I'd like to get into a more documentary/journalistic type of photography over portraits, but I guess we'll just see where the wind takes me. "

Aaron Hoffland (Computer Science, Scandinavian Studies) "I now live in Eau Claire, WI where I work as a Java programmer at Menard's. "

Hannah Janaky (Psychology) - "I work with at-risk youth as a Resident Counselor at Quakerdale in New Providence, Iowa. "

Justin Kaspryk (Physical Education, Exercise Science emphasis) I am currently pursuing a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Also, I am working on recertifying as a nursing assistant, completing occupational therapy observation hours, volunteering time at a nursing home, studying for the GRE, and taking online child psychology and abnormal psychology classes. My message to future SSS Students is that no matter what, be persistent. . . when things go awry, keep working hard and know that your dedicated time will pay off one way or another. "

Kelsey Kittleson (Biology, Pre-Med) - "I will be working as an EMTBasic for one year while applying to medical school for matriculation in 2013 to become a musculoskeletal surgeon. I married Jharred Millonig on July 21, 2012. "

Tyler Mc. Cubbin (History[2], 5 -12 Elem. Ed. ) "I am currently working for Marriott International in West Des Moines, IA, competing in road races across central Iowa, and applying for full-time teaching positions. "

Carrie Niehaus (Psychology) "I am in the school counseling program at the University of Iowa. "

Jenna Pollock (Psychology, Social Welfare) "Emmet County Naturalist - I develop and present environmental education programming for the wider Emmet County Community along with welcoming guests at the nature center and offering interpretative analysis of the natural world. "

Alison Sancken (Anthropology, History) - "After graduation I worked in Montana for the summer in the Gallatin National Forest. This fall I am moving to Japan for a year long internship with the Labo International Exchange Foundation. "
