SRF Sector • • R&D – One 3. 9 GHz 1 -cell cavities in processing for nitrogen doping/infusion – One 2. 6 GHz cavity in processing – 6 1. 3 GHz 1 -cell cavities were in different stages of processing. – Two 1. 3 GHz 1 -cell Cavities were tested, results pending. LCLS-II – Zanon cavities new series performed excellently. Problem at Zanon fixed – CM 02 test going very well. Microphonics suppressed. Low field emission levels. – CM 03 WS 5 with instrumentation. – CM 04 is in WS 3 stage with thermal strapping and instrumentation – CM 05 WS 1 string assembly – CM 06 has 6 qualified cavities compared to last week’s 5. • • 1 Three more to be tested this week (5/1 week) PIP-II – Two 650 MHz 1 -cell cavity were tested – One 650 MHz 1 -cell cavity in processing – One spoke cavity horizontal test assembly is in progress at STC test cave – Two 1 -cell 650 MHz cavities were vertical tested. Magnet Sector • LCLS II – The Quad in Cryomodule #2 was powered in

Magnet Sector • LCLS II – The Quad in Cryomodule #2 was powered in CMTF to 20 A for 1 h w/o quench or temperature rise. SPQA 105 will be delivered for assembly this week. Started preparation for SPQA 106 test. • LARP – Two 4. 2 m production-length coils are in different stage of production. Short model MQXFS 1 c connected to the top plate, leads spliced, final electrical checkout before cool down is expected this week. This is a short 2 m-long model (150 mm aperture) for the HL LHC IR quadrupole upgrade. • AS – A remanufactured Main Ring quad, IQBB 401 is under test. The final short/fast Booster BKEF kicker has been potted. • Mu 2 e – Making steady progress toward testing the TS proto module in the HAB facility. Completed Mu 2 e Test Stand Dished Head “A” wiring and started electrical checkout at HAB. Run plan is in preparation. • PIPII – Magnetic measurements of MEBT triplet completed, data are analyzed. • G-2 – Inflector: the discussion of the muon beam optics analysis continues, samples of the Nb. Ti superconducting shield material have being prepared for testing, winding tooling preparation IB 2 is in progress. • MDP 15 -16 T dipole R&D – Coil fabrication in progress for 15 T magnet: Layer #4 winding has started, end spacers have been modified • Infrastructure (IB 1) – removing old Tevatron equipment, continued decommissioning of Tevatron test stand 6 the old
