Biography Adam Spiegel (born October 22, 1969), known professionally as Spike Jonze is an American filmmaker, photographer, and actor, whose work includes music videos, commercials, film and television. His father Arthur H. Spiegel was a Jewish ancestry. Jonze was raised by his mother Sandra L. Granzow. At a young age he started to work in a BMX store. He was a fan of that sport so he started photographing BMX demos in Rockville and formed a friendship with Freestylin’ magazine editors Mark Lewman and Andy Jenkins. They were impressed with the photos so they offered a paid job for him.

Music Videos Jonze have worked with lot of popular artist such as: The Notorious Big (sky’s the limit) Kanye West (flashing ights) Fatboy Slim (praise you)
Sky’s the limit The song is by the singer Notorious B. I. G It is from the album ’life after death’. The video clip feels like a fitting and touching testament of the rappers life. The video shows that he lives out his childhood ambitiouns of succes and luxury after death. Spike Jonze achieved to find a perfect balance between Hip hop and childish innocence.
Flashing lights The song is by the rapper Kanye West and also features Dwelle the Rnb singer There were actually 3 musi videos shoot but this apealled Kanye West the most. In the video there is a girl who gets out of a sport car takes off her cothes and than burns them, after all this she opens the trunk and beats the singer to death. The rolling stones called this video the 11 th best of 2008. The video is a bit dark but the use of the artist is perfect as she is an attractive woman and also she is evil.
Praise you Fatboy slim and Spike Jonze have done several music videos together. This is a great work in both artists career. The video is really simple but at the same time captivating. I personally really like this music video because it doesnt have any complicating stuff in it. It shows a group dancing in a mall but it looks that it was made in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.
