Research Questions • Which country spends the most on education funding? • Does the GDP per capita effect government funding? • Does the amount of funding directly correlate to the graduation rates?

Literature Review • According to Liang Zhang, when the government funds colleges, the graduation

Literature Review • According to Liang Zhang, when the government funds colleges, the graduation rates for said university will increase when all other factors are held equal. During her study, a 10% increase in funding resulted in a 0. 64% increase in graduation rates. Sociologist want to research this topic because college graduation plays several roles in other aspects in society such as crime rates. This research is also important to Sociologist because they can find if government funding of college education is the most efficient way to promote college education.
