On Fridays we work on individual math skills that students need extra practice on. Reading: Leveled groups working on non-fiction stories we work weekly on comprehension, phonics, vocabulary, and work related to the leveled stories This week the mystery bag will be going home with Kae!! Social Studies/What’s in the news: We will be learning about Nature Photography!! Students will also get a chance to take some of their own nature photography this week!! 11/23 -11/25 - Thanksgiving Break Life Skills: Conflict resolution discussions and activities Cooking this week will be: Oliver Oatmeal Writing: We will begin a new book writing project. Students will pick a topic and then write a short book on the topic. Once the book is complete students will turn this into their own “youtube” video ( THIS WILL NOT BE ACTUALLY GOING ON YOUTUBE)!We will continue to focus on cursive writing.
