Y 4 Spelling. • Please find attached a copy of the spellings for year 4 for the entire year. The children will have an additional copy of this stuck inside their reading records. • We have one weekly spelling lesson in class to focus upon spelling patterns, homophones and words with prefixes and suffixes. • The homework expectation is for the children to learn their weekly spellings from the list. They can have a go at finding other words with similar spelling patterns at home too if they wish. • The pupils will be tested on some of these words on Fridays, through a dictated sentence.
