COG ACTIVITY COG CONCLUSION 32/1 - ICAO LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS a) That, the action plan, included as Appendix C to the COG/32 Report, be recommended to States as guidance material for the implementation of ICAO language proficiency requirements. b) That the ICAORD request States in a position to do so, to provide details of any available recourses, in order to produce a catalogue to assist States that will need to make use of external resources in meeting the new language requirements. COG/ATM/TNG/TF
EANPG OPINION: EANPG CONCLUSION 47/43 - IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ICAO LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS That: a) States: i) use the Action Plan as guidance material for the implementation of the ICAO language proficiency requirements and regularly report the progress to the EANPG; and 1. ii) take all appropriate actions to achieve the timely implementation of the ICAO language proficiency requirements; b) ICAO: i) regularly review and update the Action Plan, if and when required; and ii) continue to provide assistance to States in implementing the ICAO language proficiency requirements. ACTION PLAN: Phase 1 covers the period up to 5 March 2008 and deals with actions required to reach Level 4 proficiency Phase 2 after 5 March 2008, proposes actions for the maintenance of Level 4 proficiency or higher COG/ATM/TNG/TF
