Humanity’s ecological footprint is already AT LEAST 20 PERCENT BEYOND what the Earth can sustain. In the next 35 years, humanity will demand 3 TIMES the CURRENT RATE of resource consumption. If we continue to live in ECOLOGICAL OVERSHOOT, these numbers will GROW.

#SPEAKOUT MISSION • Speak Out will strengthen voices already advocating the dangers of overshoot, as well as recruit new voices • Provide advocacy tools and encourage global sharing and participation • Provide the book, OVER, to people and organizations who can be ambassadors of information • Recruit personalized deliveries of OVER and Speak Out messages to policymakers and opinion leaders • Bring international attention to the crises posed by population growth
