BEGINNING FRESHMAN HONORS SCHOLARSHIP • The Beginning Freshman Scholarship is to be awarded to

BEGINNING FRESHMAN HONORS SCHOLARSHIP • The Beginning Freshman Scholarship is to be awarded to a student entering Southeastern as a beginning freshman. • Any beginning freshman student admitted with a 23 ACT composite and a minimum 3. 0 cumulative high school grade point average (on a 4. 0 scale) qualifies for a scholarship at Southeastern. • Housing supplement only available to students living on campus. • All scholarships are awarded for eight semesters. • The application for admissions serves as the application for scholarships. • Eligibility is based on full-time status. For additional information about scholarships or TOPS, students can visit our website at www. southeastern. edu/scholarships or call the Office of Scholarship Services at (985)549 -5116. Retention Requirements: • The student must earn a MINIMUM 3. 0 SEMESTER & CUMULATIVE GPA • The student must be continuously enrolled full-time each semester (minimum 12 hours). • The student must attempt and pass no less than 24 hours per academic year. The academic year is defined as the combination of the Fall and Spring semesters.
