TIA WLAN Inter-working Standards Ø Phase I standards support public WLAN hot spot roaming of cdma 2000 subscribers for Access Control and Charging. Phase I standards are complete awaiting publication. Ø Phase IIa standards support access to cdma 2000 operator data and IMS services. Phase IIa standards are in balloting for publication. Ø Phase IIb work supports IMS/Vo. IP handoffs between WLAN access and cdma 2000 packet access networks. Phase IIb is in stage 2 and stage 3 discussions. TIA WLAN Standards are developed in conjunction with 3 GPP 2
