DAFFIE localization All sounds are assigned a location in virtual space. l Typically, sounds are associated with visible objects, but “ambient” sound (e. g. , wind, nature) is supported too. l Direction and distance are indicated by variations in loudness among the loudspeakers – done automatically by soundserver. l New Voices and New Visions: Summer 2008 5
