You must answer all questions thoughtfully and thoroughly and turn them in on Thursday in order to participate. Guidelines? YOU guide the discussion. The more prepared you are and the more you participate, the better it will be! Grading? Major grade = determined by rubric

Back up your comments with evidence/facts. - Try to comment on someone else’s previous statement before you give yours. - Personal stories should have a direct connection to the facts. - Keep the discussion alive by asking open-ended, thought-provoking questions. - Disagree with comments, not individuals. No put downs!

One of you sit on the INSIDE circle and one of you sit on the OUTSIDE circle. *Sit close to one another so you can hear each other!* - You will talk when you’re inside. You will listen and type in Today’s Meet when you’re outside. Pay close attention to the conversation, but especially your partner! You will type questions, comments, and thoughts you have about the conversation happening inside the circle. - We will complete the Reflection sheet at the end of class.
