The products provided are clothes in many different colors and materials (cotton) GILDAN is irresponsible because they mistreat their workers in Canada and other plants (Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua). They are also considered irresponsible because their workers are not paid enough money causing the company to agree to pay well to make their community middle class. They also contribute to a variety of civic and cultural causes. Lastly they are seen as a model corporate citizen and benevolent employers.

It is a day where you challenge yourself, your family, and friends to switch off from shopping and tune into life. • Buy Nothing Day was organized in Vancouver in September 1992. It was created to examine overconsumption. • What is bad about shopping is that it causes carbon footprint to grow which is bad for the environment. • Buy Nothing Day was created to stop carbon footprint for a day. • Over 65 countries practice Buy Nothing Day • An activity you can participate in on Buy Nothing Day is Dress up as Zombies and tell people not to buy anything.
