ACTIVITY Execute the following:
A. Stretching exercises fit for dancing: 1. In stride, slowly raise arms sideward, stretching upward, and sustain for 4 counts. Execute 3 more times. 2. Bend head to R (2 cts. ) then L (2 cnts. ). Repeat 3 more times. 3. Do shoulder shrugs in 8 cts.
A. Stretching exercises fit for dancing: 4. Twist trunk to the R(2 cts. ) then L(2 cts. ). Repeat 3 more times. 5. Stretch R toe forward, touching the floor(ct. 1). Then draw fast toward L(ct. 2). Repeat 3 more times. 6. Repeat all with the L.
B. Movement exercises 1. Execute 4 low jumps in place, repeat the jumps as high as possible, moving forward , 4 times each. Repeat 2 more times. 2. Execute forward leaps 4 times R and L. 3. Execute 8 grapevine steps sideward L and R. 4. Execute leg kicks 8 times R and L. 5. Execute waltz steps (step, close, step) around the floor area as many times needed.
