Goals: • To develop a set of recommendations that we can present to the OSAA Executive Board to help our membership schools with guidance and a comprehensive set of guidelines in the specific sport of soccer • We need to remember that we are dealing with 179 schools who offer soccer and are from all scopes so we need to make it fairly simple (KISS method)

Things we know: • OSAA Executive Board shifted the Seasons around and now Soccer

Things we know: • OSAA Executive Board shifted the Seasons around and now Soccer is during Season 3 (February 22 – May 2) with a culminating week April 26 – May 2 • OHA came out with some new Guidance for K-12 School Sports, Limited Return to Play: Once school begins that school if they are not a Baseline “Watch List”, there are no longer Phases you are governed by school district decisions • Masks must be worn by all indoor activities and outdoor activities where 6 feet of physical distancing cannot be maintained.

Things we know: • Season 1 (August 31 – December 27) will now allow

Things we know: • Season 1 (August 31 – December 27) will now allow schools to make decisions on athletic/activity participations in Minimal – and Medium –contact sports and non-contact sports. Coaches must be certified to work with their student-athletes Student-athletes must be eligible (if playing contests) Certified officials must be used when playing member schools (can’t play nonmember schools as a school team)
