What is Soccer? Soccer is a game were there are two teams that usually have eleven players on the field playing and seven subs making eighth -teen players in total. There are four different positions in soccer such as striker, midfielder, defender, and goal keeper. The objective is to score points and have more than the other team. Players cannot use their hands except for the goal keeper which tries to block as many shots as possible. Instead strikers, defenders, and midfielders, use their feet to pass and shot the ball into goal.
How to Play In order to play you need to be able to kick and catch the ball basically. You basically get the ball up the field on the opposite side of your goalkeeper where the opposing goal keeper is and you try to shot the ball into the net which he/she is blocking. Passing, blocking, shooting, respect, dribbling, and foot skills basically sum up the word soccer or the other word such as football. Passing is used to get the ball to a different player on your team, blocking is effective to keep the away from another opposing player, shooting is to score goals, respect is not being a disrespectful player, dribbling basically used to move the ball around, and foot skills are fancy ways to dribble and do some amazing tricks such as the rainbow or around the world.
