Are you a runner looking to stay in shape in winter and have fun with a new sport? Yes, people do run on snowshoes but they are not your grandmothers snowshoes! There is even a national governing body called the USSSA that sponsors a national competition. The midwest has many snowshoe running races and the Braveheart series includes 14 of them to choose from. Do the most races and win! A pair of snowshoes from Atlas to the winner and runner up who do the most races. Plus random drawings to participants from Atlas and Wintergreen Northern Wear. Need someone to train with or to learn more? Braveheart leads a training group that does regular 10 K shoes all winter long in the Twin Cities. . . Saturdays and some weeknights.
