Snap Button Control Procedures • All Metallic buttons must meet the following minimum performance requirements: Two Hole Two or Four Hole Ligne Size <14 14 -21 ≥ 22 Strength 20. 2 LBS / 10 SEC Metallic button procedure must be strictly follow as a daily routine basis.

Snap quality Check Factory has a assigned Trims inspection team , they doing the check to ensure the buttons quality as 10% of Every buyer , style, lot and consignment wise and make sure in house button match with approval & strictly check below points ; • • • Button ligne match with requirements Button color & Button scratch Button thickness Button Broken Button need to pass thru double head needle detector machine to make sure button are metal free.

Machine adjustment Before attach button Factory has to adjusted by snap machine , not by manual machine. Vendor must clean button attachment machines on a daily basis. Button supplier’s service Engineer must be come to factory to adjust the machine pressure , pinch setting as data sheet to avoid any misalignment of button and pressure uneven. Approved Button supplier – Scovil , Priyam and Moritoba. PSO must be check machine adjustment and garments before start bulk production.

Bulk Production • • Before start production operator should be make mock-up by similar layer (button attaching position) and button attach into mock-up and Safety officer do pull test when button pull test are meet 20. 2 LBS / 10 sec then he will allows to start bulk production. During button attach must be follow marking to avoid uneven foundation and if any electric fault or machine off for any reason then again restart the machine and ist button must be attach at mock-up then proceed for bulk production (if everything ok). Every two hours PSO has to check physically and keep records using below format ;

Button Pull Test Factory assigned Product safety officer and team are responsible to do button pull test. • Carter’s button pull test requirements 20. 2 LBS / 10 SEC • Every two hours PSO doing button pull test and keep records accordingly. Must be follow head end control.

Quality Check after button attach Factory assigned two QA to do check 100% button after attaching and strictly follow below points ; • Button attach at uneven foundation • Button operability test • Button pull out • Button scratch for over pressure • Leg frong out • Button ligner match with approval QA keep records accordingly.
