Tobacco is the only legal product sold that is DEADLY when used exactly as the manufacturer intended • 45, 000 people die each year in Canada due to smoking related illnesses - over 1000 of them from second-hand smoke. • That's more than five times the number of Canadians who die from traffic injuries, alcohol abuse, murder and suicide combined.

What does Nicotine do? • Takes 7 seconds for 1/4 of the nicotine to go straight to the brain. • Causes your brain to release a chemical called Dopamine. • It's Dopamine that gives you a false sense of well-being, and soon the body wants more and more Dopamine on a regular basis. This is the beginning of an addiction. • 80% of young people who try 2 cigarettes or more go on to battle a life-time of addiction.

The new Smoking - Vaping? • Vaping is the act of inhaling and exhaling the aerosol, often referred to as vapor, which is produced by an ecigarette or similar device. The term is used because ecigarettes do not produce tobacco smoke, but rather an aerosol, often mistaken for water vapor, that actually consists of fine particles.
