Smog Demons are practically made of hands, having the highest amount of hands that a Standard Demon can safely have. It is one of the best Demons for fighting large numbers of enemy Demons, since it has an attack that deals damage in a diamond and the cheapest Infecting attack of any Demon in the game. On the other hand, Smog Demons can use some of the most complicated weapons with ease, even if their low reflexes limit the amount of shots they can fire. The smog that Smog Demons are made out of isn’t a kind of smog that is normally made on earth, but it definitely isn’t safe to breathe. Oddly enough, someone that breathes in Smog Demon fumes often enough without breathing in enough to make themselves sick will not only become immune to the harmful effects of Smog Demon smog, but also to the harmful effects of most smog on earth. Since people don’t normally become immune to regular smog, Smog Demon fumes have, at times, been used as medicine. Essential and Ancient Smog Demon Following the same style as Standard Smog Demons, Essential Smog Demons have another pair of hands and another pair of eyes. Essential Smog Demons are even better at infecting groups than Smog Demons, but they trade out the ability to hit enemies in a diamond for the Double Strike attack. Ancient Smog Demons are much more focused than their earlier forms, and they make excellent use of both Powerups and Weapons. The Ancient Smog Demon’s Helix Bomb doesn’t do much damage, but it’s one of the most useful attacks to use on an Essential Demon. No research has been done on Elder Smog Demons. For the most part, the tentacles are just the Smog Demon’s body, but Appendage Combination lets them be used to attack. Appendage Combination mixes the Smog Demon’s hands and tentacles together, creating sturdy limbs that can be used for the Quadruple Smog Blades attack. Upgrades Smog Demons can also use Appendage Combination, but it tends to work best with Weapons at those higher levels.
