Clarify typical SMB needs today The Opportunity Is There But The SMB Market Is Tough SMB market is price sensitive as most solutions will do the job You will always find a competitor that is offering cheaper LAN or WLAN When selling on price, your margins are low while customers need Installation and Support You need to convince your costumer about the solution benefits. Here you create customer stickiness, protect your installed base and open the opportunity for additional sales. Different types of equipment in use, offered by different Vendors To lower CAPEX, some SMBs are buying up to 3 different vendors for the Unified Communications, LAN, and Wi-Fi portions of their network, which was OK when you had One user = 1 phone = 1 PC = 1 port = 1 VLAN What happens when a user is not experiencing seamless Where the fault ? experiencing seamless mobility across the network or is their Internet mobility across the network or their Internet connectivity is slow? Is it the ISP ? Is it the LAN ? connectivity is slow? What is the impact of an inconsistent security policy? 8 COPYRIGHT © 2012 ALCATEL-LUCENT ENTERPRISE. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Is it the WLAN ? Is it the PBX ?
