Advice for Other Students What advice would you give a student taking the test next year? (Don't tell us any test questions!) Most frequent comments: • Try hard and do your best • Use the scratch paper • Take your time, and just use all the knowledge you've learned throughout the year • I would say to really pay attention to what the question is asking you, and re-read your answer. • Take your time, play around with the tools to get the feel before you take the actual test so that you know which tool is where. Some unique comments: • Don't think too hard about the questions, if you think about it too much you'll just get way confused and probably spontaneously combust (not really) • Say please and thank you to your teachers and learn some respect. • Bring food. • Don’t forget to elaborate.
Advice for Teachers What advice would you give a teacher helping to prepare a student to take the test? Most frequent comments: • keepa positive attitude our proctor did that and a lot of stress got off my shoulders • My teacher did a perfect job of explaining what to do before this test. • Some advice I would give a teacher helping to prepare a student taking the test is to go over all the tools, and especially where to find them. Also make sure they know how to type pretty well, and how to use proper grammar when typing. Some unique comments: • Mints help a lot. • I wouldn't give any teacher any advice because all of our teachers are very helpful during the test and very respectful while we are taking it • Don't rile your students up about it, teachers often make these tests seem like they're going to be completely terrifying and hard but in all honesty they really aren't, it's just as easy as a regular test.
