SMART TROLLEY Advance Mechatronics Prepared by: Tejas Shanbhag Nisarg Patel
Project Overview ● The conventional trolley are inefficient due to its wheel, weight and many more things like you need one person to push it. ● But the autonomous trolley will follow the person in front of it. Which will eventually make the person free to move without pushing the trolley. And can easily do shopping or any other activity. ● It will greatly help the old people who find it very difficult to push the trolley by themselves
Working of the Trolley ● There are two IR emitter-detector pair of sensors at the front side of the trolley which will guide the trolley to move forward, to make a turn or stay still. ● In addition to that we have placed a ultrasonic sensor to alert the owner if someone tries to remove any stuff from the trolley with the help of a buzzer and red LED lights.
Ultrasonic sensor (PING))) ) ● ● ● Range - 2 cm to 3 m (~. 75" to 10') Supply Voltage: 5 V +/-10% (Absolute: Minimum 4. 5 V, Maximum 6 V) Supply Current: 30 m. A typ; 35 m. A max 3 -pin interface (power, ground, signal) 20 m. A power consumption Burst Frequency - 40 k. Hz for 200 µs
