Categories • List has everyone’s category • You may be able to switch your category/partner • You must have someone that is willing to switch with you • If a switch cannot be made and you are uncomfortable with your current placement, consider re-applying next year • Deadline for requests is September 25 th
The SLSS DECA Contract • Initial DECA Membership Fee : $50. 00 • Attendance Policy – Lates and absences should always be notified in advance • Consequences if meetings and events are missed! – Verbal and written warning, membership may be revoked – Notify Wardah (exec. Administration) of absence • Sign and return contract for next meeting: Thursday September 25 th
The SLSS DECA Contract Regionals: • • • Online exam component (part of your overall performance) Will be written in the library WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29 TH, 2014 Oral Performance component Held in Lincoln Alexander SS, 8 am-6 pm SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1 st , 2014 Provincials: $125. 00 • Two night stay in downtown Toronto • Both exam and oral performance will completed • THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5 TH – SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7 TH, 2015
Upcoming Dates • Signed Contract Due - Thursday, September 25 th (next meeting) • Registration Deadline - Wednesday, October 1 st • Regional Competition - Saturday, November 1 st at Lincoln Alexander SS • Provincial Competition - February 5 th – 7 th, 2015 at Sheraton Centre, Toronto • International Competition - April 23 rd – April 30 th in Orlando, Florida
