This is called the (GCF) or GREATEST COMMON FACTOR 25 1 x 25 5 x 5 GCF = 5 40 1 x 40 2 x 20 4 x 10 5 x 8 3) Divide the top and bottom of the fraction by the GCF 25 40 5= 5 5 8 This fraction is now reduced to lowest terms.
