CLC as our LMS FSDB used Edmodo for many years. Everyone wants: ● All the features for an online class ● Connections to the Gradebook ● Connections to Student and Family Access

CLC has Discussions Available in Student and Family Access Gradebook assignments with Attached Files Class announcements via notifications Turn-in Work Electronically

Gradebook assignments and CLC items show on the student’s calendar. This is the teacher view of multiple items assigned to all classes.

The student view is almost the same as the teacher view without add and edit options.

The teacher can assign the item to multiple classes and add tags to organize items. For each item, setup includes: ● ● date and time the item is visible date and time students can post to the discussion date and time students can turn in their files and how many files can be attached which students cannot participate in the discussion board Each item can also be linked to the gradebook.

Student Name and Student number Each item will have statistics on if or when students have handed in the assignment. Student Name and Student number Additionally, you can see exactly what date and time each student attached their work.

Student Name and Student number Also see statistics on discussion participation. Student Name and Student number Teachers can see all students or just those who have or have not commented.

Limitations ● Cannot private message student to teacher within the CLC, only via email. ● Lesson plan items can only be linked to the gradebook OR the CLC, not both. Skyward has plans to further develop the CLC including adding more features in the future.
