SKILLS LEARNED Presentation By: Julie Lang
Researching • Researching is gathering information about a subject • I demonstrated my researching skills when I worked on my Capzle, ergonomics assignment, hardware activity, and my business report.
Assessing Websites • Using the information given on a site to see if it is reliable or not • I showed how I could assess a website when I did my internet assessment
Web Design • Creating and designing a website • I demonstrated this when I made my Weebly sites
Spreadsheets • An electronic document used to organize data in rows and columns • I used a spreadsheet program called Excel for my “Learning to Excel” assignment and I also did a quiz using Excel.
Brochure • A pamphlet containing pictures and information about topic/item • I demonstrated how I could make a brochure using the “Quark Design. Pad” app
Documents • Documents are word processing files that can include words, graphics and many other features • I used Google docs/MS word to type out my letter to myself, timeline, hardware activity, business report, and to fill out my website analysis and site evaluations.
Presentations • Software that includes slides that can contain words, photos, graphs and other features • I created a presentation using Google Slides and Microsoft powerpoint.
Photoshop • An image editing software • I showed how I could use this by making a magazine cover
Skills and Knowledge • I could be a good employee because I am very hard working and get the job done. I don’t have many positive traits to bring to a job besides working hard and researching.
