APPROVAL LETTERS & CONTRACTS • Contracts (2 -Party) shall be signed by both parties

APPROVAL LETTERS & CONTRACTS • Contracts (2 -Party) shall be signed by both parties (Agri. SETA & Employers or Employer nominated representative) within a month of receiving such contract. • Service Providers may not sign the 2 -Party contract unless mandated by Employer (18. 1). • Grant fund is meant to assist the Service Provide in conducting training successfully. • Learner Allowance is meant to assist the learner with travelling and meals. • No learners Allowance in Skills Programmes. Training can ONLY commence once the contract is signed by both parties and is according to Training Plan. Funds are regarded as contracted once the contract is signed. At least 95% of Discretionary funds should have valid contracts. If you realise that training for whatever reason is going to go beyond contract period, a request for an addendum should be made within three (3) months prior to the expiry of the contract. Funds are lost to NSF/Treasury if a stakeholder does NOT have a valid contract or addendum. NO CONTRACT shall be SIGNED without a Valid Tax Clearance. • • •

CLAIMS & ADDENDUMS q q q q PLEASE TAKE NOTE INTERNSHIP & GRADUATE PLACEMENT

CLAIMS & ADDENDUMS q q q q PLEASE TAKE NOTE INTERNSHIP & GRADUATE PLACEMENT – 50% upon signing the Contract and another 50% half way the programme, NO Addendum shall be allowed. BURSARIES – 100% upon signing the Contract, NO Addendum shall be allowed. SKILLS PROGRAMMES – SP shall be claimed once the Programme is completed, Addendum may however be allowed for a maximum of 6 Months. LEARNERSHIPS – Claims shall be made 4 times a year/training period and Addendum shall be allowed for a maximum of a year. AET – 50% upon signing the contract and another 50% upon completion. Addendum may be allowed for a maximum of 6 months. ARTISAN DEVELOPMENT – Claims shall be annual as per disbursement schedule. Addendum may be allowed if there has been annual claims. COMMODITY ORGANISATIONS – 50% upon signing Contract and another 50% half way the Programme. Addendum may be allowed for a maximum of 6 months. MENTORSHIP - 50% upon signing Contract and another 50% half way the programme, Addendum may be allowed for a maximum of 6 months.
