SOFT SKILLS Soft skills is a term relating to a person's emotional intelligence, personality traits, social graces, communication, language, personal habits, friendliness, and optimism that define relationships with other people. Soft skills complement hard skills, which are the occupational requirements of a job and many other activities.

JOB RELATED SKILLS OR HARD SKILLS Hard skills are any skills relating to a specific task or situation. These skills are easily measurable unlike Soft skills which are related to one's personality.

TRANSFERABLE SKILLS • Transferable skills are the skills that can transfer from one job to another. • Transferable skills include communication, team work, problem solving and intellectual skills. One needs to identify their transferable skills and use them in a resume or during an interview.
