Brown, Kleidon and Marsh (1983)

Bhardwaj and Brooks (1993)、 Ibbotson and Sinquefeld (1995) 及Kim and Burnie (2002) 發 現景氣與市場多空等因素會左右規模效應的結果 • 美國的實證如Bhardwaj and Brooks (1992)、Fama and French (1992，表六)、Siegel (1994, Ch. 5)、Jagannathan and Mc. Grattan (1995)、Hawawini and Keim (1995) 、Dichev (1998) 及Horowitz, Loughran and Savin (2000) 則發現以 1980年代為分水嶺，在此之後規模效應不復明顯
