Early Life – Sitting Bull was born in South Dakota. • Sitting Bull’s parents names were Her-Holy. Dore and his Dad’s name was Jumping Bull. • He didn’t go to high school or collage because he did not get the opportunity. • Sitting bull had five wives. • One of the wives had long blond hair.

Contributions and Trivia § Sitting Bull fought in the Battle of Little Bighorn against the United States government in 1876. § Sitting Bull performed in the Buffalo Bill Cody’s Wild West Show. § Sitting Bull was a medicine man, or holy man, of his Hunk papa Lakota tribe who were being driven from their land in the Black Hills. § He had a magic tooth that made him strong!

Later Life • He died when he was 59 on December 15, 1890 • He grew up to be a good strong man and very healthy

Conclusion The world would have been different without Sitting Bull was an idol and someone looked up to by many men, women, and children. It has made lots of people stronger. Sitting Bull had a lot of major accomplishments. He did a lot of heroic things and one that I think he did that changed the world the most was when Sitting Bull took up arms against the government men refusing to be transported to the Indian territory. The reason I believe that standing up to the government had an impact on Earth was because, he stood up for his rights and his land. Many Native Americans were ripped of their land by the government. I think Sitting Bull's actions have reflected onto many people to stand up for themselves and their land. That is showing the government that people can stand up for themselves.
